Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on her role on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in an Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting when she was in Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. Anna was the first to get a major role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional work. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. in 2022 Gunn participated in an audio-play show called "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the marriage he shares with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
