Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her love of the stage. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV parts. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big role as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she appeared in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional work. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few years that were the life of Walter White.
