Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to attempting TV and movie parts. Anna had her first big role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. She also guest-starred on the show. appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood and was filming during the middle 2000's. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few decades that were the life of Walter White.
