Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role was Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a few years. She then moved on to television and film. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest in TV and film like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler played Martha Bullock as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also starred in a four-part audio-play podcast titled Numbered Days. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably similar to the arc that was Walter White's final years of life.
