Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, prior to moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her luck in TV and film roles. Anna's first big part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot during the middle 2000's. Skyler was Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood were also the highlights of her acting career. Gunn was on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which launched in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of life.
