Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. The theatre studies she pursued was at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre parts for a number of years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in TV shows and films. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully is the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's personal life.
