Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is best known for her part as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Theatre studies was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna's first big part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which launched in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
