Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman published widely and has won many grants and has received numerous international and national awards. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the globe regarding policy and research on child victimization in the court system. She works as a Consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman belongs to the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has been president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and three Divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
